Muay Thai

TomPlessWeb-4

MUAY THAI IS THE ART OF 8 WEAPONS

(2 a piece: fists, elbows, shins and knees).

It is a highly developed striking martial art and the National sport of Thailand. It is a perfect complement to Jiu-Jitsu.

The class is a combination of technique training using shadow boxing, foot work training, heavy bag training, focus mitt training, and Thai pad training. Thai training methods develop devastating power, speed and superb cardio-vascular endurance.

The program develops skills that can be applied in self defense or the sporting environment. The Muay Thai/Boxing Program is a physically challenging class; however, each student is given the freedom to train at his/her own pace.

PROFESSOR THOMAS PLESS  is an Official First Level Instructor with the Thai Boxing Association of America, and has been learning and traveling to Thailand for 20 years.

Our Muay Thai class focuses on technique and timing in addition to sparring.
