Kickboxing blends athletic drills with martial arts to create an intense cardiovascular workout.

You can burn as many as 500 calories in a one-hour class and achieve a total body workout, according to the American Council on Exercise

This is a really fun class that combines striking technique, bag work, jump rope, plyometrics, isometrics, calisthenics, and any other lung-busting torture we can come up with. All you need is a pair of MMA gloves and some clothes that you don’t mind getting sweaty.

This is a great workout that only takes a few times through to get the motions down and feel right at home. Of course “at home” with this workout means sweating like a pig and struggling to catch your breath but it is completely worth it considering the massive amount of calories it burns.

True kickboxing has been around for hundreds of years and is a brutal sport that requires amazing cardiovascular endurance and speed to win. The class takes the spirit and physical demands of kickboxing and channels it into a challenging and fun cardiovascular workout that will help you burn calories like a prize winning kickboxer.

Your First Class

Wear loose-fitting workout clothing. No need to bring your sneakers. The space is matted so you’ll be barefoot. We also recommend that you bring a towel. You’ll warm up with a few minutes of light calisthenics, do some stretching and bodyweight exercises, then progress right into the kickboxing. We switch from a high-intensity exercise to a low-intensity exercise, similar to sprinting.
